North Texas Giving Day is September 17, but the event looks a little different this year. While the event will be entirely virtual, it’s still one of the biggest ways for North Texans to give to thousands of nonprofits who depend on donations from campaigns like this.
“During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community,” said a statement on the campaign’s website.
“With two cancelled in-person fundraising seasons and increased needs across the community, nonprofits are in need of critical emergency funds,” said Susan Swan Smith, Chief Giving Day Officer at Communities Foundation of Texas. “For 11 years North Texas Giving Day has helped fill necessary funding gaps and boost nonprofits. As a trusted resource in the community, we hope that North Texans will again pour out their support for the thousands of nonprofits participating in this year’s event.”
To donate, visit northtexasgivingday.org and find a cause to support. Early giving begins on September 1.
