Texas Women’s Foundation (TXWF) an organization committed to advancing economic security and leadership opportunities for women and girls. They announced two Preston Hollow neighbors as new directors. They will serve three-year terms from 2020-2023.

“Texas Women’s Foundation (formerly Dallas Women’s Foundation) is focused on the issues impacting women and girls, just as we’ve been for 35 years,” TXWF President Roslyn Dawson Thompson told the Advocate. “Right now, though, we are focused on lower income women, who represent 63% of minimum wage workers in our community, and their families. These women and families were not only the first to be affected in this crisis, but they will also feel the impact for the longest time. Our goals are to respond to their needs through support for child care, health care, stable housing and services that help them now and throughout the months and even years ahead.”
