Hockaday School teacher Jason Baldwin was arrested on child pornography charges in late July, and he will get his day in court in late October.

Balwdin’s court case is scheduled for Oct. 26 at 9 a.m, according to pretrial orders filed today. The affidavit said that Balwdin, 28, admitted that he had been watching child pornography for eight years and had used the app Telegram to purchase files too.

Baldwin was released Monday into his mother’s custody, on the deal that he not use any internet devices, have contact with minors, and that he seeks psychiatric treatment, People Newspapers reported.

Baldwin was arrested after admitting to federal investigators that he had paid for videos of underage boys participating in sexual acts, Dallas Morning News reported.

This summer, he was charged with receipt of child pornography. Federal investigators told the publication Baldwin used a PayPal account linked to Hockaday’s northwest Dallas mailing address to buy these explicit videos. An early childhood development curriculum coordinator, Baldwin has been employed by the school since 2014 but has since been suspended.
