The owners of one of the largest vacant homesites in Preston Hollow are looking to rezone the property.

Once the home of famed Dallas developer and art collector Raymond Nasher, the property sits on 13 acres south of Park Lane.

A company founded by Nancy Nasher, Raymond Nasher’s Daughter, and her husband, David Haemisegger, wants to turn the property into three lots ranging from 4.362-acres to 4.890-acres, the Dallas Morning News reported.

A representative for the owners told the newspaper that there are no plans to sell off the property and that the family intends to build a home there.

The zoning request is “to comply with the city’s platting regulations,” the spokeswoman said.

The city’s planning staff has suggested approval of the proposal.

The vacant property is valued for taxes at over $23 million.

On Miron Drive, the site used to show off a midcentury house and gardens full of the family’s famed art collection. The home hosted Andy Warhol, Bill Clinton and Joan Rivers over the years.

The Nasher home, designed by Howard Meyer, was torn down last year.
