Neighbors are leaving flowers on the parked Toyota Camry of 7-Eleven clerk  Samuel Tesfaye, who was killed in an attempted robbery during a graveyard shift.  His car hasn’t been moved since that night. Tesfaye leaves behind wife Tigist Degifie and a daughter.

Tesfaye, 48, was found shot dead Tuesday, Nov. 11.  Police say that three men and two women went to the convenience store located at Forest Lane and Marsh Lane after midnight. The men entered the store where a struggle ensued. KDFW reported that one of the suspects, 22-year-old Cesar Albert Molina, was critically injured and later died at the hospital. An injured 17-year-old suspect will be booked for murder after being released from the hospital.

A GoFundMe for Tesfaye’s family has been created with a goal of raising $20,000 to help with burial costs.
