More than 20 years ago, the Isbells moved to Preston Hollow. When the Wines wanted a new place to raise their children, they followed the Isbells to Preston Hollow, where both families’ children attended the same school for a period of time.
Wines’ career path took her to the nonprofit world, serving orphaned and vulnerable children throughout the world, and she took Isbell with her.
In 2009, Isbell and Wines took a mother/daughter mission trip to Guatemala with the ministry Orphan Outreach, which Wines helped found. When they returned to Dallas, They started an auxiliary called Women for Orphans Worldwide (WOW) whose mission is to support the Orphan Outreach programs in Guatemala by providing educational, physical, emotional and spiritual care to vulnerable children and families.
Isbell and Wines will continue to build more memories together, including cheering on their beloved TCU Horned Frogs and building a legacy to serve with WOW.
