Several athletes in Preston Hollow will sign national letters of intent today.
When a prospective student-athlete signs a national letter of intent, the student agrees to attend the institution full-time for one academic year. The institution provides athletics financial aid for the same time.
Some students already signed their letters in November and December.
Here is a list of athletes in our neighborhood who are signing today.
Baseball:
- Clayton Jackson, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend Trinity University.
Crew:
- Connor Menke, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend Santa Clara.
Football:
- Patience Carey, from W.T. White High School, will be a wide receiver at Howard Payne University.
- Cam Edwards, from W.T. White High School, will be a defensive back at Howard Payne University.
- Noah Sample, from W.T. White High School, will be a wide receiver at Howard Payne University.
- Dom Dozal, from W.T. White High School, will be a defensive back at St. Mary’s University.
- Tim Wyatt, from W.T. White High School, will be an offensive lineman at Midwestern State.
- Dejon Barker, from W.T. White High School, will be a wide receiver at Southeastern Oklahoma State.
- Max MartÃn, from W.T. White High School, will be on the defensive line at Sterling College.
- Patrick Sheffield, from W.T. White High School, will be an outside linebacker at Blinn College.
- Pierce Jackson, from Jesuit Dallas, will be a linebacker/safety at Trinity University.
Ice Hockey:
- Eleanor Winges, from the Episcopal School of Dallas, will attend Harvard.
Lacrosse:
- Max Beuck, from the Episcopal School of Dallas, will attend Rollins College.
- Mason Chandler, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend Amherst College.
- Tilt Fernandes, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend Washington & Lee.
- Rob Williamson, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend Amherst College.
Men’s Soccer:
- Cullen Scott, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend the University of Pennsylvania.
- Ryan Shea, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend the University of Chicago.
Tennis:
- Eli Gan-Dy, from Jesuit Dallas, will attend the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
