There have been two burglaries at Preston Hollow homes so far this month.

One occurred at a single-family home on Ashmere Court shortly before 5 a.m. on Feb. 6, and the other happened at a single-family residence on Brookstown Drive around 9 a.m.

At Ashmere Court, an unknown person broke into the homeowner’s property and stole some of his belongings.

At the Brookstown Drive burglary, an unknown suspect entered the homeowner’s garage, took some of her possessions and left the scene. There was no forced entry.

In January, 12 burglaries at homes in Preston Hollow were reported to Dallas PD, with three occurring during the first week of the month.

This month, vehicle theft and burglaries of vehicles, as well as burglaries at commercial properties have been more common in our neighborhood.
