Arboretum Annie predicted six more weeks of winter, but baseball season has already arrived.

To try to trick your brain into thinking it’s spring, here are some games to watch this week.

There are a few games scheduled for today. W.T. White’s varsity team will be playing Grand Prairie at Grand Prairie at 5:30 p.m. The junior varsity team will also be playing Grand Prairie at Grand Prairie’s field at 4 p.m.

Hillcrest’s JV and varsity teams also have scrimmages today. JV will face off against Garland at Hillcrest High School at 4 p.m. The varsity team plays Garland at Garland at 4 p.m.

Several games are scheduled for this weekend.

On Saturday, W.T. White’s varsity team plays Sachse and Mesquite at Tillery at noon and 2 p.m.

That same day, Hillcrest’s teams will be scrimmaging against Lakeview Centennial and Seagoville at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. Varsity games will be held at Hillcrest, and the junior varsity games will be at Seagoville.

Jesuit Dallas will travel to Argyle High School in Argyle to face off against Argyle and Frisco at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
