Preston Hollow neighbor Jill Louis named office managing partner

Preston Hollow neighbor Jill Louis has been named office managing partner at her firm, Perkins Coie, according to a Feb. 10 press release.

Louis, who grew up in Midway Hills and went to St. Rita Catholic School, will take on new responsibilities and continue to focus on private equity and corporate representation. Her previous role was a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice.

She has several ties to the community, including through serving as a member of the board of the AT&T Performing Arts Center and KERA, where her mother worked.

“Dallas and the broader Texas market are key to the firm’s continued strategic growth in the technology sector,” said Louis in a press release. “I’m thrilled with the opportunity to lead the office in the city I grew up in and, together with our exceptional attorneys and staff, we look to bring our strong client service and collaborative culture to bear for clients throughout Texas and globally.”
