Preston Hollow neighbors are getting a new sandwich shop in Preston Forest: Jersey Mike’s Subs.
The shop will be the second Jersey Mike’s in Preston Hollow, with the other at the corner of Preston Road and W. Northwest Highway.
According to the building permit application submitted Wednesday, the 1,350-square-foot space will undergo a commercial remodel. Currently, the suite is empty, but a Google Maps photo from October 2019 shows the space occupied by C2 Education, a tutoring, test prep and college admissions counseling center.
Trades listed on the application include customer service, electrical, energy code, health, mechanical and plumbing. The total cost of the remodel is set at $175,000.
Kyle Potvin, a spokesperson for Jersey Mike’s, says the store is expected to open in the third quarter.
The new location will be at 11661 Preston Road, Suite 149, next to Penne Pomodoro.
