Forty-one Dallas ISD schools opted to take on the intersession calendar for the next school year.

The intersession calendar is one of a couple calendars approved by the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees in January to mitigate learning loss. It adds five weeks of classes spread throughout the school year.

DISD had been receiving feedback from school faculty and staff and students and their families.

A complete list of schools switching to the new calendar can be found here.

K.B. Polk Center for Academically Talented & Gifted is the only school in our neighborhood that chose to take on the intersession schedule.
