Galleria Dallas will be hosting a fundraiser next month, allowing customers to support local women-owned businesses.

On May 14-15, shoppers can stop by the Galleria’s outdoor Alley area near Banana Republic and The Blue Fish to purchase food and items from a dozen vendors participating in the pop up, according to a press release.

Businesses will donate 10% of their sales to the Genesis Women’s Shelter, which provides aid to women who have experienced domestic violence and raises awareness about the cause, prevalence and effect of domestic violence.

“We’re thrilled to bring these exciting women-owned businesses to participate in this popup market at Galleria Dallas,” says Galleria Dallas Director of Marketing Megan Townsend in a release. “Since the beginning, Galleria Dallas has been a leader in fashion and beauty, and the brands we’re bringing to the Alley Market are right on trend.”

The range of businesses taking their items to the market is wide. Berkley Clothing sells luxury maternity activewear. Delilah Jean sells floral arrangements. Modern Soul sells fair-trade goods made by artisans around the world. And then there’s Make Your Life Sweeter and Snowbaby Creamy Shaved Ice, each serving up delicious treats.

The market will be open from noon to 5 p.m. May 14-15. The Galleria is located at 13350 Dallas Parkway.
