May the 4th be with the Dallas Public Libraries, which reopen next Tuesday after being closed except for online and curbside service for more than a year.

In-person services are still limited. But cardholders can go into libraries for “grab-and-go” browsing and self-checkout.

Computers can be used for 90 minutes per day per user, and you can print, make copies, send faxes and get a new card. The central library is open for research, by appointment.

Curbside service and virtual programs are still available, but in-person events are not resuming yet.

A maximum of 25 people will be allowed into branch libraries, and 155 max at the central library.

Masks will be required for anyone over age 2, and it’s asked that you use hand sanitizer and keep 6 feet of distance.
