One Hockaday parent is helping out kids across the world.

Aarthi Cadambe took gently used school uniforms, sneakers and backpacks to Sparsha Trust in Bangalore, India.

The nongovernmental organization, which started in 2005, works to provide child care, protection, development and youth skills development to young kids. They are given a safe place to live, education, food and health care, and they have the opportunity to learn and play through dance, song, drawing and other creative activities.

Cadambe was able to get the Hockaday gear to Sparsha before the annual celebration.
