This Teacher Appreciation Week, the Hockaday School is thanking educators with the help of the Parents’ Association.

The school posted on Facebook a series of photos of gifts the parents have showered on the teachers and staff members throughout the year. Gifts included in the photos reflect a range of holidays and events, including Christmas, Valentine’s Day, spring and summer.

Carla Bolden, the president of the Hockaday Parents’ Association, wrote a note thanking the outgoing parents’ association members for their work in connecting people and organizing and hosting events during the past school year. She also invited parents to keep an eye out for ways to volunteer in the July back-to-school email.

Teacher Appreciation Week falls this year on the last week of classes for Hockaday seniors.
