DFW Restaurant Week is back in full swing after a downsized event last year.

There are about 100 places in the metroplex participating. Starting Aug. 6, the restaurants taking part in the 24th iteration of the charity event will be offering a special menu, with dinners priced at $39 or $49 per person and two-course lunches priced at $19 per person.

Differences in cost depend on the quality and price of ingredients.

Restaurants will donate 20% of the proceeds from each meal to the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope.

Here is a list of the participating restaurants in our neighborhood:

Reservations can be made now. Aug. 6 marks the beginning of the preview weekend, with the official start occurring Aug. 9. Restaurants then have the option to extend their menus and pricing through Sept. 5.
