Bike retailer Bike Mart plans to open its fifth location in Preston Hollow this fall.
The retailer, which was formerly called Richardson Bike Mart, has been in business in D-FW for 59 years. Its other locations are in Richardson, East Dallas, Frisco and Mckinney. Bike Mart caters to all ages and experience levels, offering new and used bikes, trade-ins and maintenance services.
Preston Hollow’s location will be housed in an 8,000-square-foot space on Lovers Lane. Neighbors can browse a range of products, including mountain, road, full-suspension, electronic, kids’ and BMX bikes.
“We rebranded the company name and logo because we knew it was the right time to celebrate serving the wider Dallas-Fort Worth community,” said Ken “Woody” Smith, the company’s president. “As well, after this past year, our online and local communities have grown tremendously, and it was really important to us to be inclusive of all our loyal customers, no matter where they live and shop.”
In addition to the new name, the business has adopted a new logo. Now, customers will be able to shop summer apparel online, as well as in store.
