Hockaday alumna Lisa Loeb is putting together a collection of mini musicals with fellow Brown University alumni.

Loeb, who was recently featured in a GEICO commercial, is calling the collection of 10 shows “Together Apart.” Neighbors can view the shows for free on Broadway on Demand starting Aug. 6.

The Grammy-winning artist was inspired to make the musicals after a virtual Brown Musical Theatre class reunion for graduates from the 1980s and 1990s that was held during the pandemic. Together Apart will encourage viewers to donate to The Actors Fund, which supports performers and behind-the-scenes staff members in the entertainment industry.

“By sharing our storytelling and our passion and love for musical theater, we can work together to provide an outlet for our shared creativity while giving back to this incredible cause,” Loeb said.

Other cast members include Julie Bowen from “Modern Family,” Josh Hamilton from “13 Reasons Why,” Ann Harada from “Avenue Q” and JoBeth Williams from “Kramer vs. Kramer.”

Each musical will run seven minutes and will include short pieces by Eric Kirchberger, who will play Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Together Apart is available to watch here Aug. 6-20.
