George W. Bush Presidential Center

The George W. Bush Presidential Center closed temporarily due to COVID-19.

Dallas County Health and Human Services reported 796 positive cases Tuesday in the county. Of that, 718 were confirmed, and 78 were probable.

The museum’s permanent exhibit reopened to the public in May, though research services, the Situation Room experience and educational programs stayed closed.

An exhibit showcasing paintings by our neighbor, the former president, has been on display at the museum since April 20. It coincided with the release of his book, “Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants.”

While the library and museum are closed, Cafe 43 remains open by reservation only and for takeout.
