A vegan granola company that started in a kitchen in our neighborhood is a finalist in the 2021 H-E-B Quest for Texas Best.

Park Lane Pantry, founded in 2019 by neighbor Elaine Pearlman and Tiffany Lustig, sells vegan and keto granolas using natural ingredients. Monk fruit is added as a natural sugar alternative. It offers many flavors such as almond cranberry, orange cranberry and choc-oh-chip.

The business is one of 20 contestants who will present their products before judges Aug. 24-25 at the San Antonio Food Bank. Awards will be given to the top three products, with $25,000, the “Texas Best” title and shelf placement given to the first-place winner, $15,000 to second place and $10,000 to third place.

Park Lane Pantry’s products can be purchased at Central Market at 4349 W. Northwest Highway, Coop at the Cooper Fitness Center, The Gem and Eataly.
