Preston Hollow will be represented on this year’s Ryder Cup team.

Jordan Spieth was one of captain Steve Stricker’s six picks to join the six automatic qualifiers for the team. This marks the Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas alumnus’ fourth-consecutive appearance on the United States’ team, having played in 2014, 2016 and 2018.

Spieth is joining teammates including Dallas native Scottie Scheffler, who played at Highland Park High School and later at the University of Texas at Austin, just like Spieth.

The U.S. players who qualified automatically are Collin Morikawa, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay. In addition to Spieth and Scheffler, Tony Finau, Xander Schauffele, Harris English and Daniel Berger were selected by the captain.

This year, the Ryder Cup will be played at Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin. Matches begin Sept. 24.
