A coach at St. Mark’s School of Texas is being inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Abilene Christian University.

Kevin Dilworth, a strength and conditioning coach at St. Mark’s, will be inducted into his alma mater’s hall of fame Oct. 15.

At ACU, Dilworth was a track and field athlete. He won the NCAA Division II indoor national championship in the long jump in 1996. His best jump was 27-9.50. Dilworth also qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials twice, in 1996 and 2000. He participated on the U.S. team at the IAAF World Championships in 1999, the Pan American Games in 2003, the World University Games in 1997 and the 1998 Goodwill Games.

Dilworth joined St. Mark’s in 2008 and is one of seven former ACU athletes being inducted in the ceremony.
