Athletico Physical Therapy opened at 5535 Lovers, across the street from Trader Joe’s and next to Orangetheory Fitness.

The therapists here offer traditional rehab and recovery services, joint replacement therapy, headache and concussion treatments and the like. They also have programs for COVID-19 survivors.

“We offer treatment for patients recovering from COVID-19 to help them through the physical and emotional challenges that can occur from the virus and get them back to the life they knew,” the clinic notes. “Treatment plans may include exercise training, manual therapy, body positioning and education focusing on mindfulness, relaxation, energy conservation and activity modification.”

No referral or prescription is needed to become a client. They are open weekends, late nights and early mornings.

The clinic manager says she’s pumped to open a location to our neighborhood.

“I’m really excited to plant roots in this community — to build trust and relationships with doctors, patients, schools, and families to become the ‘go-to’ provider here for physical therapy,” says Kate Gallerano, the clinic manager at Athletico Dallas-Park Cities. “Growing up playing soccer, I was fascinated with the injuries and rehab journeys I saw. This curiosity motivated me to become a physical therapist, and since then I have devoted my time to helping patients reach their goals and return to a pain-free lifestyle.”
