WOKC Warrior Portrait Exhibit

Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer has a portrait exhibit on display at NorthPark Center this month until Nov. 21.

This exhibit, aptly titled “When I Grow Up” Warrior Portrait Exhibit, features 25 child cancer patients dressed as their dream careers when they grow up.

Of the 25 portrait stories in the series, 20 are accompanied by portraits and the remaining five are stories only.

Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer is a nonprofit organization founded 40 years ago by Cindy Brinker Simmons and currently chaired by Karee Sampson. The organization has funded research projects toward pediatric cancer, programs for supportive care of pediatric cancer patients, provides support to the patents’ families and built the playroom on the oncology floor at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

The portrait exhibit is located on level one between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

NorthPark is located at 8687 N Central Expy.
