Add “town” to the list of things Mark Cuban owns.
The Preston Hollow neighbor and Dallas Mavericks owner bought Mustang, Texas, recently. About all that’s in that 76.8-acre community is an abandoned strip club and an empty mobile home park.
“Did it to help out a friend. No plans yet!” Cuban told NBC News in an email.
Mustang is about 60 miles south of Dallas, near Corsicana. There are no current residents.
The property closed for less than the original asking price of $4 million.
In addition to Mustang and the Mavs, Cuban is the owner of many businesses, including an entertainment venue in the Design District and a low-cost prescription drug company.
