Amorino Gelato is now open in our neighborhood.
The shop is located in the former Sprinkles Ice Cream space at 8413 Preston Center Plaza Drive, according to the company website.
Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi, who are childhood friends, founded the company in 2002. Since it was started, Amorino has created more than 20 organic flavors, all Ecocert and USDA Organic-certified.
The sorbets and gelato have been gluten-free since 2017. And there are also options for a vegan-friendly diet, including sorbets and cones certified by The Vegan Society.
In addition to gelato, which is available in flavors such as pistachio, vanilla, hazelnut chocolate, mango and strawberry, Amorino serves waffles and crepes, hot drinks, gelato macarons and more.
Other locations in North Texas are in Fort Worth and Plano.
