Boutique selling women’s apparel, accessories plans opening at Preston-Royal

A boutique specializing in women’s clothing and accessories plans to open a brick-and-mortal store in our neighborhood.

Ruffles Curls and Glamour, owned by Jamie Charleston, launched its online boutique in 2014. Charleston describes the dresses, tops, bottoms and other items they sell as “classy, chic and sophisticated with a twist,” and she says her style originates from St. Louis, Missouri.

Feb. 26 is the target date for the grand opening of the store, planned for 5934 Royal Lane, suite 253.

Charleston said when she visited a spa at that shopping center, she was immediately attracted to the building and the area. The diversity in the building, which is home to Greek Isles Grill & Taverna, White Rock Coffee and more, and the traffic in the area convinced her that the location was right for her shop.
