Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill will open soon in our neighborhood.
In 2021, The Advocate reported the restaurant’s plans to open in Preston Hollow Village. It will be located in the former Matchbox American Kitchen & Spirits space.
We just received word in an email from the company that Thirsty Lion is set to open the location in May. It will be the chain’s fourth location in Texas, with two already open in Euless and Irving and a third planned to open in The Colony’s Grandscape in March.
The two-story location in The Colony will be the largest location in Texas.
Thirsty Lion is a brand from Concept Entertainment Group. It prides itself on its from-scratch cooking and seasonal menus.
The restaurant will be located at 7859 Walnut Hill Lane.
