Dallas ISD cancels school Thursday because of cold weather

Dallas ISD has canceled school tomorrow because of the winter weather.

Campuses will be closed, but central staff employees are expected to work remotely.

The district also said parents can pick up their kids early today if they call the school. Though buses will be running this afternoon, there could be delays.

All after-school events have also been canceled today.

This is the second time this month DISD schools have been closed because of the weather.

Many other North Texas school districts including Fort Worth ISD, Garland ISD, Arlington ISD, Lewisville ISD and Richardson ISD have announced closures for tomorrow.
