Tex-Mex spot coming soon to Pavilion on Lovers Lane

A Tex-Mex restaurant from the chef behind Nonna, Carbone’s and Fachini is coming soon to The Pavilion on Lovers Lane.

Odelay Tex-Mex, from chef Julian Barsotti, applied for a certificate of occupancy at 5600 W. Lovers Lane this week. It will be housed in the former Cafe Express space.

Barsotti is known for his Italian restaurants, but during the pandemic, he launched Ritas & Queso, offering margaritas, queso, chips and enchiladas for delivery.

The chef told The Dallas Morning News in 2021 that Odelay’s menu would include “the greatest hits of Dallas Tex-Mex” made with local ingredients and house-made items. Think gorditas, chile rellenos and cheese enchiladas.
