A judge sentenced a former teacher at The Hockaday School to 20 years in prison for buying child pornography online.
The sentence is the maximum penalty for the charge, The Dallas Morning News reported.
Jason Sherod Baldwin pleaded guilty in August 2021 to one federal count of receipt of child pornography. He was arrested in late July 2020, after admitting to federal investigators that he paid for lewd videos of underage boys engaging in sexual acts.
Baldwin had previously worked at Dallas’ Greenhill School and Parish Episcopal School’s summer camp.
