New bracelet from Allie + Bess.

Dallas-based jewelry company Allie + Bess designed a bracelet to support a local nonprofit.

A portion of proceeds from every bracelet purchase will go to Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support, which helps women who have experienced domestic violence and their children.

Allie + Bess was co-founded in 2019 by Bess Callarman, an Ursuline alumna, and Allie Wardlaw.

The new bracelet will be on display at Veronica Beard in Highland Park Village at 11 a.m. May 5. Shoppers will be able to see the bracelet and popular Allie + Bess items, as well as Veronica Beard’s summer collection. The first 50 event attendees will also get a $50 Allie + Bess gift card that can be used online after May 5.

This is not the first time Allie + Bess worked with the shelter. The company partnered with it around Christmas last year and helped the kids there make jewelry for their moms.

“Giving back to women and children is at the root of Allie + Bess,” Callarman said in a press release. “We are honored to continue our partnership with Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support and hope this bracelet raises much needed awareness and funds for an organization doing so much meaningful work in our community.”
