Kips Bay Decorator Show House has chosen an Old Preston Hollow home to showcase for its third annual design event.

The event doubles as one of the nation’s leading design events of the year and as a fundraiser for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. This show house will be the third annual satellite event in Dallas.

Kips Bay Decorator Show House will partner with charities Dwell with Dignity and The Crystal Charity Ball to enlist some of the nation’s top interior designers to transform the chosen home: 9250 Meadowbrook Drive, located in Old Preston Hollow’s Sunnybrook Estates neighborhood The home will be open to the public for one month beginning Friday, September 23.

Last year’s home was also located in Old Preston Hollow’s Sunnybrook Estates neighborhood at 5138 Deloache Avenue.

“We’re delighted to return this year to Dallas and the Old Preston Hollow neighborhood which will act as the backdrop for the raising of essential funding for New York City’s youth,” said James Druckman, President of the Board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We’re eager to unveil what our top-notch group of designers has in store for the extraordinary space this September.”  

Before opening to the public, interior designers will work to transform each of the 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, elevator, 4 car garage, motor court, guest in home quarters, pool house apartment, and other rooms in the 12, 470 square foot space.

“This is such an important event for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and the design industry alike,” said Dan Quintero, the Executive Director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the Dallas community to the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas again this year and continue to raise critical funding for our kids and community.” 

Opening day tickets range from $300 to $25,000 for larger benefactors, and tickets for the rest of the month are $40 for a two hour showing.
