Aaron Family Jewish Community Center of Dallas is set to be one of 11 stops on Daniel Silva’s nationwide book tour next week.

Silva is a New York Times best-selling author of over 25 books. His latest spy thriller, Portrait of an Unknown Woman, is the 23rd in the Gabriel Alone Series. The book takes readers through the dark side of the art world, where dealers routinely deceive their customers and investors treat paintings as asset for profit, according to Aaron Family JCC’s website.  Silva’s first book was published in 1997, and since then he has earned a reputation as one of the greatest American spy novelists of his time.

For his Dallas stop, Silva will be met by Michael Cranberry, an arts and feature writer at The Dallas Morning News, is an SMU grad who’s work has covered opera divas, Leonardo da Vinci’s painting, the Dallas Museum of Art, and more. The two will converse about writing Portrait of an Unknown Woman, the book series, and more.

Tickets to the event are $40 and include a signed first edition copy of Silva’s newest book. Tickets can be purchased online, and Aaron Family JCC is located at 7900 Northaven Road.
