Art to be included in an upcoming Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center auction is going to be exhibited at NorthPark Center.

The showcase will include pieces from 20 of around 100 regional and national artists who have donated to the Art for Advocacy fundraising event, scheduled for Sept. 10. Event organizers hope to raise $1 million for Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center through Art for Advocacy.

Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, which serves more than 8,000 people every year, works to fight child abuse in Dallas County.

Art will be up at NorthPark starting Aug. 9 and will continue to be on display through Sept. 6. It can be viewed on Level One between Nordstrom and Macy’s.

The artists whose work is included in the NorthPark exhibit are: Martirene Alcántara, William Atkinson (a teacher at St. Mark’s School of Texas), Cassandra Black, Natalie Christensen, Francene Christianson, Camilla Cowan, Brad Ellis, Julie England, Erin Fuge, Jenny Grumbles, Danielle Kimzey, Sam Lam, Arienne Lepretre, Mitch McGee, Katlin Merchant, Treg Miller, Pamela Nelson, Anastacia Sadeh, Danny Williams and Sarah Williams.

The exhibit has been hosted at NorthPark Center for several years, including last year.
