Remember the bioscience company working toward resurrecting the woolly mammoth? Now they’re sharing the software used in the ongoing project.

Colossal Biosciences, a Dallas startup co-founded by Preston Hollow neighbor Ben Lamm, recently launched Form Bio as an independent software company, the first spinoff of Colossal.

Form Bio has received $30 million in funding from JAZZ Partners and has a total of $75 million in funds for artificial wombs to help with species restoration and “develop human genetic technologies,” according to Dallas News.

The technology Form Bio can be used in other scientific discoveries, including gene and cell therapy and academic research.

When we last wrote about Colossal’s progress in the world of bioscience, the startup had been named a technology pioneer by the World Economic Forum.
