Lyda Hill to serve as Zoo To Do honorary chair

Philanthropist Lyda Hill will serve as the 2023 Zoo To Do fundraiser honorary chair, which will be held at The Dallas Zoo in November.

Hill, a Hockaday alumna, is the founder of Lyda Hill Philanthropies, which invests in several programs and nonprofits dedicated to science, nature and community. The foundation has contributed to Pegasus Park, If/Then, Austin Street Center and other organizations.

Most recently, Hill was one of five recipients of the 2022 Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy.

This year’s Zoo To Do co-chairs will be Thai-Lan Tran and Steven J. Roth. More details about the event can be found here.
