The City of Dallas and Dallas Aquatics will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the multimillion-dollar Bachman Lake Aquatic Center on May 19.

This makes the 9th aquatic center in Dallas. Other aquatic centers include: “The Cove” Aquatic Centers at Crawford, Fretz, and Samuell Grand; Neighborhood Aquatic Centers at Exline, Harry Stone, Tietze, and Community Aquatic Centers at  Kid Springs and Lake Highlands.

The Bachman Lake Aquatic Center will feature a four-lane lap pool, climbing wall, play pool, basketball goal, and open and closed flume slides. Other features include a diving board, concession stand, lazy river, and a party room.

 Hours are Tuesday- Sunday from 12:30 p.m. — 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. — 7 p.m. The center is closed on Mondays.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new aquatics center is May 19 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Bachman Lake Park.
