Houston-based gym facility ONESWEAT will open its first Dallas location in mid-May at Preston Center Village.

ONESWEAT, a high intensity interval training (HIIT) studio, will open its largest space featuring two floors offering specialized workout routines and classes. The main workout area will be downstairs while an upstairs stretch and wellness space will open in June or July, following the May grand opening.

“There’s nothing like this here in Dallas,” general manager of the new ONESWEAT Dallas studio, Kendall Burton said. “That’s why people are so interested. On opening day, we definitely want to make it all inclusive so people can come in and check it out.”

Although it’s still shy of opening, the gym already has a surge of memberships. The gym is known for its strength and functional training through 45 to 50 minute classes.

“There’s no workout like it,” Burton said. “We focus on cardio, footwork, and speed, which equals to longevity. Our class structure keeps people engaged in a way that feels like time goes by so fast. At the same time, we’re trying to better them mentally and physically.”

In addition to Dallas, ONESWEAT plans to open new locations in the Woodlands and San Antonio are set to open later this year. It already has a location at its flagship Houston location and River Oaks.

“I want people to feel like it’s more than just a workout place and something that really levels up their life,” Burton said. “It should feel like it’s truly for the people where everyone can connect and get exactly what they need.”
