Election Day for Dallas is this Saturday, May 4th and will include the $1.25B 2024 Bond Election.
In a 14-1 vote on February 14, the Dallas city council approved the $1.25 billion bond package for voter consideration on May 4.
The 10 propositions on the ballot will address various city needs: road improvements, parks, storm drainage, libraries, homeless assistance, cultural and performing arts facilities, economic development, housing, public safety and city information technology.
Among the 800 projects included in the bond package, notable allocations include a $9 million renovation for the Preston Royal Branch Library, $300,000 for playgrounds at Pagewood Park, renovations for the pavilion at Preston Hollow Park, and storm drainage repairs at Pemberton Drive.
Redeemer Lutheran Church on Park Lane will not serve as a voting location for this election. Residents can find alternative voting sites through Dallas County Elections.
