Maple Leaf Diner is celebrating Canada Day with special deals in honor of Canada’s 157th birthday.

In 1867, the British North America Act established the country of Canada and for 157 years has brought influence to the United States, including Dallas with Maple Leaf Diner. Since opening in 2015, owner Mike Delaurier has dedicated the diner to sharing the flavors and traditions of Canada to the neighborhood.

To mark this milestone, the diner will offer $1.57 specials from June 30 to July 1, starting each day at 1:57 p.m. The specials include spiked Canadian punch and a half-portion of the classic poutine, a beloved Canadian dish featuring fries topped with cheese curds and smothered in gravy.

The restaurant will follow regular business hours during its celebration.
