This Saturday, September 14, the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation Tennis Classic takes over the Banner House at T Bar M, for an afternoon of fun and fundraising.
Nowitzki, a Preston Hollow neighbor, will donate proceeds of the event through his foundation towards children’s health, wellbeing and education. The nonprofit is located in Dallas, but benefits children around the world.
The tennis matches will feature Nowitzki himself, along with his former teammates J.J. Barea and Steve Nash. Former ATP world No. 1 mens doubles player, Mark Knowles will also be suiting up along with recently retired WTA champion, Coco Vandeweghe. Also participating is new Dallasite Klay Thompson, who signed with the Dallas Mavericks this summer, and Dr. Phil McGraw, who opened a brand new studio in Fort Worth for Dr. Phil Primetime.
The event begins at 3 p.m., with attendance tickets available for $65.
