Starting Jan. 6, Dallas Love Field Airport’s Whataburger and Campisi’s locations will be temporarily closed for construction. The airport announced the closures in a social media post on Monday.
Other concession locations, including Chick-Fil-A, Chili’s and Maggiano’s, will remain open during the construction.
According to an airport spokesperson, both restaurants are scheduled to reopen this summer.
The purpose of the construction project is to decrease wait times and long lines at both locations. Upon reopening, the restaurants will have all new equipment, including self-ordering kiosks and designated pickup locations.
