Canada-based CRAFT Restaurant & Beer Market is opening its first U.S. location in Dallas’ Preston Center. According to a Jan. 13 statement, the new location will open in early 2026 at 5974 W Northwest Hwy.

CRAFT Beer Market is a casual dining spot dedicated to locally sourced food and craft beer. Since the 2011 opening of its original restaurant in Calgary, CRAFT has expanded to nine different locations across Canada.

In 2019, CRAFT partnered with Canadian business executive Tom Gaglardi, who has owned the Dallas Stars Hockey Club since 2011. Gaglardi is also the owner of the successful Canadian restaurant chain Moxie’s Grill & Bar, which also first expanded to the U.S. with a Dallas location.

The Dallas CRAFT location will have over 100 beers on tap and feature a 360-degree bar at the center as well as a rooftop patio. The Irving-based design firm ID Studio 4 will partner with the Canadian boutique interior design firm Way of Normal to design the new location.

According to CRAFT, the restaurant chain will continue its commitment to sustainability with its flagship U.S. location by using energy-efficient technologies and locally sourced materials in the design. The chain’s statement also said the restaurant will partner with Texas-based breweries and food suppliers to support the local community.

In a statement, CRAFT founder PJ L’Heureux said, “CRAFT has always been about bringing people together, and we’re thrilled to share our passion for craft beer, exceptional dining, and community building with our friends in the Texas market.”
