The Stewpot, a local organization serving the homeless population, will be hosting two community events from 1:00 to 3:00 on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Galleria Dallas.
The “Love Your Neighbor” pop-up event will be a volunteer opportunity for community members to put together hygiene kits for neighbors experiencing homelessness. The event is free and open to all.

At the same time, work from Stewpot artists will be available to view. Attendees will be able to speak to the artists about their work and purchase pieces. The exhibit will also feature a performance from the Dallas Street Choir, a nonprofit led by Dr. Jonathan Palant dedicated to providing a musical outlet for those experiencing homelessness.
The Stewpot is a community ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas that provides social services for those experiencing hardship and homelessness.
The exhibition and performance will be on Level 1 near the Gallery Wall. The volunteer activity will take place on Level 3 near the Play Place.
