An unlikely new location is now part of the Dallas arts scene: the Milestone Electric, A/C, & Plumbing office.

The company’s building at the corner of Forest Ln. and the Dallas North Tollway now features two new murals, bringing some colorful Dallas pride to the neighborhood.

The first mural celebrates the nearby Southern Methodist University, of which Milestone is an official athletic department sponsor. Painted in the university’s official colors, the mural features SMU’s mustang logo.

The second mural is meant to celebrate the city of Dallas, featuring icons like the city skyline and a red pegasus, which has been an iconic Dallas symbol since the mid 1900s.

The murals were done by Dallas-based abstract artist and muralist Rasheal Winters of Created Art Co.

Milestone offers electric HVAC and plumbing services. The family owned and operated company has serviced the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2004.

Gus Antos, Milestone founder and CEO, said about the murals, “We wanted to create something special for the neighborhood that would not only brighten the area but also reflect Milestone’s deep roots in the Dallas community.
