The first Texas location of celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s chicken-based restaurant Chicken Guy! opened Feb. 6 in Preston Hollow Village.

The menu is based around chicken tenders — brined in lemon juice, pickle brine and buttermilk — but also features chicken sandwiches, salads and hand-spun milkshakes. Customers can choose from a number of sauces including the signature “special sauce” and Fieri’s famous “donkey sauce.”
A collaboration between the Emmy-Award winning Fieri and restauranter Robert Earl, Chicken Guy! opened its first location in 2018 at Walt Disney World in Orlando. Since then, the restaurant has expanded to 15 locations across the country.
The Preston Hollow franchise is owned and operated by Daswani brothers Kris and Ram. Over the next couple of years, the Daswanis hope to bring more Chicken Guy! locations to the area.
Chicken Guy! Preston Hollow is located at 7859 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 190 and is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
