During their speeches, each of the honorees recognized the work of JA Dallas and encouraged the students in attendance to continue working hard and being leaders in their communities.
The Dallas Business Hall of Fame is an annual fundraiser benefiting JA Dallas, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. This year, $1.25 million were raised to support the organization’s mission. The money will go toward providing local students with learning experiences in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
JA Dallas President and CEO Chris LaTurno said, “These are important lessons we teach students. Junior Achievement alumni are more likely to have a college degree, higher earnings and start a business. Let’s dream big and go big for our students, for your businesses and for our region.”
