Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church has raised $76 million in its landmark capital campaign. This marks the largest campaign undertaken by an Episcopal church in the United States.

The Building our Future campaign publicly launched in 2023 with a goal of raising $65 million to help expand and revitalize the church grounds. The campaign had three pillars: upgrading infrastructure for long-term sustainability; expanding community spaces to encourage gathering and investing in education through the enhancement of the nursery, preschool and other classes.

Saint Michael has embarked on a two-phase building project, which is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2026. The first phase was completed in September 2024 and focused on updating building infrastructure and expanding educational spaces. The second phase is underway and will include a new atrium, parish hall, music suite, café, indoor play areas for children, staff offices and community gathering spaces.

Saint Michael and All Angels Rector Rev. Dr. Christopher D. Girata said, “The faithfulness and generosity of our parish is humbling, and the energy with which our members caught the bold vision for this campaign inspires me.”
